Description
A very rare antique Dutch-style embossed brass log or coal box, likely early 1900's. Hinged lid with a black-lined interior, wooden carcass, and original cast iron casters for easy moving. The pressed brass shows a 17th-century tavern scene on the lid and front, with a hammered texture on the sides. It has a lovely aged patina and some natural wear consistent with its age. Perfect for storing logs or kindling by the fireplace, or as a decorative piece. Measurements : 480mm(L)x310mm(W)x430mm(H). Price : R1,200. Contact me on 0795016288 Collection in Oakdale, Bellville. No holds, FCFS, EFT payment secures your reservation if not collected the same day. Delivery can be arranged at an additional fee.
